Timbers Bachelor Gulch is a typical mountain lodge high in the Colorado Rockies. The lodge is set on the slopes with easy access to some of the best skiing in North America, including Beaver Creek and Vail. Guests enjoy ski-in, ski-out access, with ski-valet service and lift-passes included.

Along with beautiful and varied skiing and snowboarding for all levels, we arrange dog-sledding, snow-shoeing and sleigh rides from the lodge. Summer is equally as breathtaking, when the mountains are carpeted in wildflowers and outdoor activities can include hiking, rafting, fly-fishing, kayaking, golf and hot air ballooning. Throughout the year a number of events are on offer, such as full-moon snowshoe dinners, winemaker dinners ,and s’mores making around the fire for both children and adults. An on-demand shuttle service operates to nearby villages, and larger towns are easily accessible for dining and shopping.

The lodge itself is impeccably designed from great carved timbers, beautiful ironwork and rock-lined walls. The décor is cosy and in keeping with the lodge’s natural surroundings of pristine Aspen and Pine groves, and the has all the character of the American West, celebrating the region’s history of pioneers exploring the wilderness and nature. Forest and mountain scenery can be enjoyed through great picture windows, and expect splendid sunsets across the Rockies. The main social areas of the lodge feature large fireplaces, well-stocked book shelves and warm lighting, which create a homely, relaxed ambience.

Timbers Bachelor Gulch is ideal for families, providing 2-3 bedroom apartments featuring kitchen, dining and living spaces, concierge service and laundry facilities. Guests also enjoy access to neighbouring Ritz-Carlton spa and fitness centre, one of the best spa’s in the US, including indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a lazy river hot tub, a pool with amazing mountain views.

Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips. Getting the details right, from which hotel is perfectly located for exploring away from the crowds, to which local guide is most knowledgeable on history or culture or art, is of paramount importance to me. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences and exploring off the beaten track to ensure my clients are receiving the best and most honest first-hand advice.
