I try to stay in a different hotel every time I visit Paris, as there are many wonderful small boutique hotels that open up different neighbourhoods for you, each with their own intriguing history.
Hotel Raphael is a great four-star option that I would definitely recommend having recently stayed there. One of the ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’ The Raphael is a family owned and run seven-storey property; a former Parisian palace that has been welcoming guests for nearly a century.
The hotel is very intimate, feeling like a private home offering incredible luxury and hospitality. Each room or suite is individual in style, featuring classic French décor; unique antique furniture, the softest silks and traditional armoires, adding such character and sophistication to generous spaces.
Some of the suites enjoy views over the Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe. I’d highly recommend these for a romantic weekend away to enjoy a privileged vantage point over some of the most iconic sites in Paris - call our team to discuss the best room option for you.
Hotel Raphael’s rooftop bar and restaurant, with an open terrace enjoying 360’ views over Paris, is one of its finest assets. This is certainly one of my favourite little secrets in the city, a stunning setting for a cocktail taking in the gorgeous Paris skyline.
Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips. Getting the details right, from which hotel is perfectly located for exploring away from the crowds, to which local guide is most knowledgeable on history or culture or art, is of paramount importance to me. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences and exploring off the beaten track to ensure my clients are receiving the best and most honest first-hand advice.
