Located on the quiet north coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, Amanruya is a luxury resort in a secluded setting amidst olive groves and a beautiful pine forest, with a private pebble beach and splendid views across the Aegean Sea.
Guests sleep in stand-alone Pavilions, each with a large private garden and swimming pool. The Pavilions' interiors are contemporary in style, fitted with four-poster beds, spacious living and dining areas, traditional fireplaces, and ensuite bathrooms with a separate bathtub and rain-shower.
The Pavilions’ facades , typical of Mediterranean and Turkish architecture, are built from local stone to blend into the landscape.
Within their private gardens, guests can relax under the shade of large pergolas, where huge cushioned daybeds enjoy beautiful sea views.
The Pavilions are all connected to the restaurants, spa, library and 50-metre infinity pool via footpaths that meander through beautiful gardens.
The setting is incredibly peaceful and relaxed, perfect for swimming, practising yoga on the beach, or indulging in a massage at the Spa.
Beyond the resort, you can visit ancient Greek and Roman ruins, such as Ephesus, Priene, Miletus and Didyma, and traditional villages to enjoy a typical local lunch or shop in the markets.
Amanruya’s main restaurant serves Turkish Aegean cuisine, sourcing seasonal ingredients from local farmers and fishermen. Guests can choose to dine in their suites if they prefer, or take a picnic out to a secluded spot.
The Beach Club offers beautiful views from a series of terraces, where you can indulge in a spectacular seafood or Turkish Meze dinner al fresco, or enjoy cocktails at sunset.
Every time I explore a new destination, whether it’s on an adventure holiday in Peru or a luxury beach escape in the Indian Ocean, I return home full of excitement to share the amazing sights I have seen. Through my own experiences I have developed a love of helping others experience the great wonders of the world; truly getting under the skin of the extraordinary destinations that are at your fingertips. Getting the details right, from which hotel is perfectly located for exploring away from the crowds, to which local guide is most knowledgeable on history or culture or art, is of paramount importance to me. I am constantly seeking out new and exciting experiences and exploring off the beaten track to ensure my clients are receiving the best and most honest first-hand advice.
